Meeting with the writer Igiaba Scego

Tomorrow, Thursday May 29, held a meeting with the writer Igiaba Scego at 10 higher educational institution Darby.
Scego was born in Italy, and Rome to a family originally from Somalia. After graduating in Literature at the Sapienza University in Rome, he pursued a doctorate in education from the University Roma Tre, and currently is responsible for writing, journalism and research center which has the dialogue between cultures and the size of transcultural and migration. In 2006 he participated in the Festival of Literature Mantua.

The book contains the story of seven young men and women of African descent, born in Rome by foreign parents (or arrived in Italy from children): school, relationships with family and peers, religion, racism , dreams.
